Everyone knows I'm jumping up and down to get to Liberia. Less than 36 hours to take-off! One of the hard parts, though, is leaving the family behind. I long for the day when we will all go together, but we're not there yet. Being away from them for so long is torture. Jumah is growing up so fast. I'm so proud of her. She is the most selfless teen I've ever met. Connor starts 1st grade next year. He's come a long way in kindergarten. He's learning to love the Lord and asking lots of questions. Abby is becoming quite the writer and I thought I'd share some of her thoughts before I go.
If I Were In Charge Of The World
by Abigail S.
If I were in charge of the world I'd cancel all of the smoking and unhealthy food.
If I were in charge of the world there would be fare and fun games, fun projects, half days of school and it will always be sunny.
If I were in charge of the world you wouldn't eat junk food, you wouldn't have to be bored, you wouldn't have rainstorms, you wouldn't even have fighting.
If I were in charge of the world every body would have fun.
And a person who sometimes forgot to go to school and forgot to not eat junk food would still be allowed to be in charge of the world.
