Ten things.

1. When Mike arrived home from Romania, I fell in love with him. Again. And it’s been silly and sappy around here ever since. Maybe he should leave more often.

2. I have the best kids in the entire universe. They are beautiful, talented, compassionate, and loved more than they could possibly imagine.

3. Springtime brings out my emotional side. Obviously.

4. Working day shift hasn’t killed me yet. I did have to stay indoors for the warmest two days of the year so far. But I’m not bitter.

5. I don’t sleep. Rarely, and not for long. Occasionally this makes me explode at people who push me too far.

6. If I could do something spontaneous and irresponsible right now, I would get in my car and go visit my sister for 5 days. We would have a blast. But I have too much responsibility here at the moment.

7. I am paralyzed with anxiety over what job I will get after I graduate, and how long it will take me to find one. Even nursing jobs are harder to find for new grads these days. I AM bitter about this.

8. I can’t shake the feeling that something big is about to happen. It’s making my skin crawl. Is it just graduation? Is it something bigger? I don’t know, and it’s driving me crazy. I carry around this weird feeling of anticipation and anxiety all the time.

9. At some point a few years ago I stopped listening to music. I started again recently and I can’t believe I lived without it for so long. Thank you iTunes and Pandora.

10. My house is about to undergo the most massive spring cleaning effort in the history of the world. Or at least the history of the Sandefur family.

Great post! As usual... :-)
1. Ever since Doug started going to Liberia, and especially since he almost didn't make it home (on top of various lovely hospital experiences), even his snoring doesn't bother me - usually. I'm just silly glad he's there snoring!
2. No you don't cuz mine are. :-D
3. Ditto. But really sometimes the stuff in my eyes is from allergies...
5. Yipes! Praying for the sleep thing. Not pleasant.
7. We all know whatever you do, God will use you to touch hurting people. But it's still hard to WAIT!
8. Ooooooooo... Is that from lack of sleep or the Holy Spirit? ;-)
9. Welcome back. No music is depressing.
10. If you run out of house, come on over here! :-D
