Bus Tales Chapter Two

I am happy to report that we have had much better experiences with the kids' bus driver over the past few weeks since that disastrous week in October. Today was interesting, though.

The (substitute, of course) driver showed up right on time.

And she drove right past us.

Her face was literally just a few feet away from me and the three kids standing right at the corner where we always stand. She was concentrating very hard on looking at her piece of paper that tells her where to stop. Obviously not hard enough. She didn't even look up. We were waving, yelling, the kids were jumping up and down. Nope. She just kept right on going, then turned down the wrong street a block later. If I hadn't seen the bus number I would have assumed she was lost on some other route.

Please tell me how to get these folks out of the gene pool. And if I can't do that, how to at least get them into a new career that doesn't involve navigating a giant vehicle filled with small children.
